Wonderfull Liberty Villa called “il Palazzotto”, built between the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s in the historic center of Bergamasco, a small and quiet village in the Monferrato area. The villa has recently undergone a conservative restoration with recovery of the typical decorations of the time, of the stone staircase with wrought iron railings, of the stained glass windows, and of the internal and external doors and windows. During the global restructuring, the roof was redone, with roofing in old tiles (characteristic of the historic centers of the Piedmont villages) and the electrical and thermo-sanitary systems. The villa is distributed as follows: - Ground floor: Entrance on a decorated staircase with service bathroom in the basement, large hallway to the living room and kitchen overlooking the courtyard. - First floor: large hallway with access to two bedrooms and bathroom. - Second floor: large hallway with two bedrooms and bathroom. The main facade of the villa faces south-east, and in the courtyard / garden there is a small but nice swimming pool. From the courtyard (about 130 square meters) a staircase leads to the basement, where there is a large room that can be used as a cellar, storage room or even a garage with driveway access to the room directly from the public road. Adjacent to the courtyard of the villa there is also an old house with a brick oven and a porch. With a global restructuring of the same it is possible to create a guest area or an extension of the garden with their demolition. In our opinion, the property is very interesting with good housing and accommodation capacities.
SITEWe are in the south of Piedmont, in Bergamasco, a small town where the hills of Monferrato give way to the plain. Immersed in the countryside of the Belbo stream valley, a quarter of an hour from the motorway exits, Bergamasco is about an hour from Turin and Genoa, and 1 hour and a quarter from Milan. The Alessandria Sud toll booth (located along the A26 motorway, which connects Lake Maggiore to Genoa) and the Felizzano toll booth (located along the A21 motorway that connects Turin to Brescia) are 13 km from the property. The town is part of the Piedmont area which in 2014 was included in the Unesco world heritage. The environment that surrounds the town is characterized by the agricultural landscape: small plots of land, dirt roads, gentle hills dotted with meadows, groves and some vineyards. The tranquility and the possibility of living in the midst of nature is guaranteed; at the same time, in ten minutes by car you are in the small but folkloric city of Nizza Monferrato, and in twenty minutes you can reach Alessandria.
